Itinerary:

We will drive down the rugged Pacific coastline to the Monterey Peninsula, the original capital of California and a town made famous by the author John Steinbeck. We will browse the shops of Cannery Row, dine in one of the restaurants, and pass Pacific Grove, known for its beautifully restored Victorian architecture and Monarch butterflies. We will stop by the famous Lone Cypress Tree for a photo opportunity as we drive along 17-Mile Drive, the famous stretch of coastline boasting homes of the rich and famous, and Pebble Beach golf course. We will also stop and stroll the quaint artist colony of Carmel-by-the-Sea, home of many photograph and art galleries, boutiques, beautiful white-sand- beaches, and a historic mission.

This world-renowned natural exhibit is a living extension of Monterey Bay, which is part of the largest marine sanctuary in the United States. More than 250,000 creatures and nearly 700 species of California's plants and animals from the Central Coast waters thrive there. Among the most prominent exhibits are its 3-story living kelp forest, a 2-story otter exhibit, a walk-through aviary, a jellyfish exhibit, and a hands-on exhibit.
